Local PR and events agency, Black Vanilla, has been awarded the Communications Management Standard from The Public Relations and Communications Association for the third consecutive year.
The Communications Management Standard (CMS) certifies Black Vanilla in upholding the highest industry standards in nine aspects of agency management, including leadership, client and campaign strategy, and business planning.
Agency Director of Black Vanilla, Nichole Culverwell (pictured), said: “I am proud of our team in receiving the CMS for the third year running. It demonstrates our awareness of our changing professional landscape, and that we value working on our practice day in and day out, improving what we offer our clients, our people and our community every day of the week, every week of the year.
“We are determined to provide the highest quality work for our clients whilst ensuring our business is well managed and sustainable; this accreditation holds us to account and provides a critical external lens through which we can constantly improve.”
The CMS audit process features over 150 different assessment criteria relevant to the public relations sector to ensure agencies qualify for the ‘hallmark of excellence’.
Carol Magill, PRCA’s CMS assessor, added: “This marks Black Vanilla’s third accreditation and that they are committed to further building on best practice across all areas year on year.
“Their core mission includes a focus on clients and supporting them towards PR best practice via engagement, in addition to trust, professionalism and ownership, all being reflected in the agency’s values. Well done to Black Vanilla.”
