Guernsey’s Admiral Park development, commissioned by Comprop CI and designed by Lovell Ozanne & Partners, is now complete.
This ambitious project is a milestone in Lovell Ozanne’s portfolio, who have more than 60 years of experience working in the Channel Islands. The collective site represents a £40 million private investment in Guernsey, significantly boosting the local construction industry.
The Admiral Park site now features a six-storey, 66,500 square foot landmark building and the development includes 64 secure covered cycle spaces, a multi-storey car park, and an amenity space featuring a pétanque court.
For stylistic consistency, Lovell Ozanne has designed all the buildings on site at Comprop’s instruction, including the100-bed Premier Inn hotel chain, as well as the restaurant Good Rebel, and its takeaway offer The Rebel Hut.
The latest Plaza building has been assessed under the Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM), the environmental assessment method for buildings. It is now accredited for energy performance and sustainability criteria, making it the first BREEAM-rated, and therefore, ‘greenest building’ in Guernsey.
