PwC Channel Islands secured a hat-trick of awards in this year’s Jersey Finance Sustainable Finance Awards ceremony held in October.
For the second year running, PwC won Leadership in Sustainable Finance -Professional Services, judged to be the firm in their sector which has best supported the transition to a more sustainable economy, and contributed to the allocation of capital for sustainable outcomes. This particular award stands as a testament to the dedication of PwC ChannelIslands’ experienced and dedicated Sustainability team.
The firm also shared the Sustainable at Heart award, a new category designed to recognise organisations that consider sustainability and the environment at the heart of what they do.
This accolade recognises PwC’s broader efforts to instil sustainable practices across the business, in collaboration with the firm’s valued clients, suppliers and the local community.
To complete the hat-trick of coveted wins, PwC also secured the Future Individual Influencer award, thanks to Indiana Latimer. This is an award that celebrates an individual below leadership level who helps to drive forward the sustainable finance agenda within their organisation. Indiana, who has just achieved a first-class honours in his BSc in Environmental Science, is a most deserved winner thanks to his exceptional contributions to the ESG team and his genuine passion for nature on the islands.
Commenting on the series of special wins, Ali Cambray, Advisory Director – ESG and Net Zero – said: “A heartfelt thanks to Jersey Finance for hosting an incredible evening, and congratulations to all the other remarkable winners and nominees. Celebrating our collective achievements was truly motivating. While we’ve made significant strides in Jersey, there’s still much more on the horizon. We hope that together, we’ll continue to make a positive impact and be instrumental in redirecting capital towards sustainable outcomes.”
