The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation will officially open the doors to ‘Frankie’s Den’ – its newly renovated flat next to Southampton Hospital – on Friday 22nd September.
Ken and Linda Acott kindly donated the two-bedroom flat, which is located alongside Aggie’s Burrow, for use by Guernsey families with a premature baby or unwell child receiving off-island care.
After going through a period of renovation, the property is ready to be celebrated and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (PPBF) will host an ‘Open Afternoon’ from 12.00pm – 4.00pm on Friday, which will include a Facebook Live ‘walk through’ at 12.00pm for the local community and a ribbon cutting at 2.00pm.
This will be the charity’s third property, making fundraising a key priority. The PPBF’s ‘Buy- A-Night’ campaign invites supporters to sponsor a night at Aggie’s Burrow, Isaac’s Pad or Frankie’s Den, which will assist with essential running and maintenance costs.
Frankie’s Den was named after the Acott’s late family dog and a special portrait of Frankie, commissioned by artist Ryan Dawe, will also be unveiled on the day.

It will be the first time that Ken and Linda see the finished space and we hope they love it as much as we do. This immense gift will allow us to help many more families, for years to come.
