James Ogier, IT Systems Engineer with IT services provider, Resolution IT, has completed the requirements to become a Cyber Essentials/IASME with GDPR Assessor.
IASME is an information assurance standard managed by the IASME Consortium, offering organisations the ability to certify against the government’s Cyber Essentials scheme and IASME governance. This is a way for organisations to demonstrate that they take Cyber Security seriously and have taken into account the requirements of the General Data protection regulation (GDPR). James is the second certified assessor at Resolution IT.
James said: “There was an intensive course at the national Cyber Security Skills Centre in the Malverns, with an exam to test understanding of assessing against the GDPR requirements. I was delighted to pass and am now able to help organisations with the self-assessment required to demonstrate they take Cyber Security and GDPR seriously with achieving the Cyber Essentials and the IASME standards.”
