Prosperity 24/7, the Jersey headquartered technology and business consulting practice, is expanding its operations into the UK with the creation of a new Scottish entity.
The new company, Prosperity Scotland Limited, will be based in Edinburgh as part of Prosperity Group Limited. This new branch will operate under the Prosperity 24/7 brand and support the business’s current financial services clients who have a UK presence as well as supporting the IT and business consultancy needs of the growing energy transition sector in the country.
Chris Clark, CEO of Prosperity Group commented on the business’s growth plans, “Prosperity 24/7 has supported a number of our clients in London and internationally for many years, so looking after clients outside the Channel Islands is not new to us and we have been looking for a suitable UK base for some time.
“Edinburgh has great appeal for us. It has a burgeoning ‘knowledge economy’ with highly qualified and talented people, who can become the ‘Great Minds’ that we need to support our clients. Its high growth sectors, such as those focused upon energy transition as well as, Finance, Legal and the Public sector, are where we see our diverse experience and proven outcome focused approach benefitting this market the most.”
Paul Marshall (pictured), who is currently the Director of Strategy & Change for Prosperity 24/7 in Jersey, will be moving to Scotland to head up the new entity as Managing Director. Paul, an IoD Chartered Director, has been with Prosperity 24/7 since 2013 and has been instrumental in driving the growth of the Strategy & Change pillar of the business.
Chris said: “I am incredibly proud to announce that Paul Marshall will head up our new operation. His experience gained working in fast paced environments and his proven track record in delivering complex and transformational, strategic change initiatives, make him the ideal person to support this next stage of our growth.”
Paul added, “I joined Prosperity 24/7 almost ten years ago and I am especially proud of the growth we have achieved in that time. This opportunity to lead the new business in Scotland, where I have worked previously and have family connections, will be an exciting new challenge. The scale of the market and the talent opportunities there are huge. We hope to create further growth for Prosperity 24/7 through organic or acquisitive means and replicate the success of our Channel Islands based offering.”
Prosperity 24/7’s new Scotland office is expected to officially open in September 2023 with recruitment to build a Scotland based team and work with clients already underway.
