BCR Law has announced that Advocate Stephen Crane and his legal team have moved to the firm.
Advocate Crane brings with him an experienced and well respected team, including Senior Conveyancer Trevor Rabet and English Solicitor, Janina Porter. Support staff Diane Bougeard, Joelle Masterman, and Nicola Miskin will also join BCR Law.
Stephen will continue to provide advice to his current and future clients, specialising in property matters including residential sales and purchases and leases for commercial premises. Together with Trevor Rabet, he will work alongside the Head of Residential Property, Michelle Leverington, to support this growth area in the firm.
Stephen will also work closely with BCR Law Partner Wendy Lambert to support the firm’s expertise in advising on commercial premises and advising Jersey businesses on set-up and acquisitions.
Janina Porter will continue her specialism of advising on probate matters, including the administration of Jersey Estates, drafting Wills and advising non-resident executors and administrators looking after “foreign” estates in relation to release of Jersey based assets.
Managing Partner David Benest said: “I am delighted that Stephen Crane and his team are joining us. Their experience means that we can continue to offer an unrivalled and personalised service to clients across our non-contentious work areas. We are an ever growing firm, now with five partners and another six members of staff.”
Stephen Crane added: “I am very pleased to be joining BCR Law with my team and to be able to provide continuity for clients and staff. Being part of a larger team will be beneficial and I look forward to working in a new setting.”
