Hand Picked Hotels have appointed a new management team for their two award winning Jersey Spas, with a number of in-house promotions.
Matt Riley has assumed the position of Interim Health Club & Spa Manager, Jersey with overall responsibility for both Spa and Club operations. Matt spent three years at Grand Jersey before being promoted to the role of Health Club and Spa Manager at L’Horizon in 2016.
Working under the direction of Matt, Iwona Bień-Sale has been appointed Health Club and Spa Operations Manager at the AA Four Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa while Natasza Gruszka has taken on the same role at the AA Five Star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa.
Iwona, who is originally from Poland, has been with Hand Picked Hotels since 2015 while Natasza started working with the company at the beginning of 2016.
Both have years of experience working in the hospitality and Spa industry and are passionate about ensuring excellent customer service; they are very experienced in working in both of the sister Hand Picked Hotels in Jersey and are now responsible for the day-to-day running of the busy Spas which have each won prestigious national awards.
Commenting on the new structure Simon Miller, General Manager of Hand Picked Hotels Jersey said: “We are deeply committed to investing in our staff and developing each of our team members and we are delighted to see Iwona and Natasza ‘hand picked’ and promoted to these new positions.
“This is also a great opportunity for the two Spas to work more closely and effectively together, aligning activities in both so that we can offer the same promotions and benefits to our customers at each hotel.”
