Tracy Burns has been appointed to the Board of Governors of Jersey charity Centrepoint.
Tracy (pictured) is currently a Director at Aztec in the firm’s Private Equity division. She has significant experience in senior leadership roles in banking and finance; prior to Aztec she was part of RBSI’s Executive Committee responsible for the bank’s offshore operations.
Tracy was introduced to the work of Centrepoint by her late partner Nigel Hill. Nigel joined Centrepoint as a Governor in November 2011 and was quickly appointed as the Chair of Governors in December 2011. He was instrumental in driving the charity forward until his passing in June 2022.
Nigel’s passion for Centrepoint inspired all those who met him. Tracy is determined to honour Nigel’s memory by taking over his role as Governor and continuing to drive the charity forward as many families face increasing uncertainty with the rising cost of living.
Tracy said: “Nigel was my partner for five years and he believed passionately in the work of this incredible charity. It is a privilege to join Centrepoint, to honour Nigel’s memory and to continue his legacy of helping Jersey children to thrive and flourish.
“Looking forward, there are some exciting projects underway at Centrepoint and I am really excited to be working alongside Jane Moy in her role of CEO of Centrepoint. Her enthusiasm and drive is infectious, she has an amazing vision and is supported by a highly experienced Board of Governors.”
