Brooks Macdonald International has promoted Matthew Wintour to Business Development Director – Head of Intermediaries.
The London-headquartered investment management firm, which has offices in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man and Funds Under Management of £2.4bn (31st March 2022), looks to enhance its relationships with international fiduciary companies and financial advisers.
Matthew started his finance career in 2005, spanning both wealth management and private client stockbroking, and joined Brooks Macdonald in 2015. In his new role, Jersey-based Matthew will take on overall responsibility for growing and deepening the firm’s connections with international financial advisers and professional trustees at both a strategic and operational level.
In addition, he will focus on coordinating and developing relationships with associated parties accessed by financial advisers and other intermediaries, including life companies, offshore pension companies and investment platforms.
He holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Investment Advice Diploma, Certificate in Investment Management, Investment Operations Certificate and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate in Financial Planning.
