Collas Crill has appointed senior associate Sarah Millar to join its family law practice in Guernsey.
Sarah (pictured) is an experienced family law practitioner whose work encompasses all aspects of family separation. She has a particular interest in matters involving children, having worked for a number of years in child protection in the public sector.
Sarah also conducts general civil litigation matters, ranging from employment to property disputes, and is experienced in running litigation from its inception to final hearing.
Family law partner Adrian Brown said: “I am delighted to welcome Sarah to Collas Crill. Sarah has substantial experience in family law, civil litigation and employment law, and will be a huge asset to our busy team, enabling us to offer our services to more clients locally. I’d like to wish her every success with us.”
Sarah was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2014 and as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2018. She is regularly instructed to appear in the Magistrate’s Court and Royal Court of Guernsey, and has also appeared before the Court of Alderney.
Sarah said: “I am very excited to join a family practice with such a well-established and respected team, as well as to work with a wider group of lawyers experienced in the full range of general civil litigation. I’m also looking forward to being part of Collas Crill’s modern and forward-thinking culture which was one of the things that attracted me to the firm.”
