On Wednesday 16th June, ITV’s Jill Douglas will host a webinar: ‘The tour, the tactics and the trip to Jersey: An insight into the world of the British and Irish Lions’, which is free for all islanders to join.
Rossborough Insurance, sponsor of the Jersey Reds Women’s team, which is a part of Gallagher, one of the largest insurance brokers in the world and sponsor of The Rugby Premiership, has organised the webinar, to celebrate the forthcoming arrival of the British and Irish Lions squad to Jersey.
The webinar, which will take place between 12:30pm-1:30pm on Wednesday 16th June, will see former British and Irish Lions, Nathan Hines and Lee Mears, share their experiences of playing a Lions test series against South Africa – the last one to take place in Africa in 2009.
The players will also be joined by Harvey Biljon, director of rugby at Jersey Reds, Lauren Lowe, Jersey Reds Women’s captain and compared by Jill Douglas, one of ITV’s rugby anchors.
