NatWest Trustee and Depositary Services Limited is delighted to continue its partnership with Ardian, providing depositary services both in the UK and in Luxembourg for its range of funds, including its eighth-generation secondaries platform ASF VIII, which recently closed on $19 billion as the world’s largest secondaries market vehicle.
Headquartered in Paris, Ardian is a world-leading private investment house with assets of $96 billion managed or advised in Europe, the Americas and Asia. The firm’s Fund of Funds platform, which covers both primary and secondary fund of funds, now has $53 billion in assets under management (AUM), with an exposure to more than 10,000 portfolio companies through 1,600 underlying funds.
As partners to Ardian, NatWest Trustee and Depositary Services currently acts as Trustee for over $10bn Net Asset Value across its secondaries fund of funds portfolio and private equity and infrastructure funds. With 275 investors across a range of sectors in nearly 40 countries committed to ASF VIII, this Fund will offer necessary liquidity to investors as they
look to re-balance private equity portfolios and seek yield opportunities for savers against the backdrop of a global pandemic and economic crisis.
