Deloitte in the Islands & Gibraltar has announced 81 promotions across its Guernsey and Jersey teams.
In Guernsey, Peter Byoonabye and Tyrone Pillay in the Audit team have been promoted to Senior Manager. Peter plays a key role at Deloitte, working on a number of large public and private audit clients across the debt and funds sectors. Tyrone is a specialist in regulatory compliance and has worked on a number of large industry projects. He also has responsibility for the Guernsey office’s compliance function.
In Jersey, Oluwasegun Alemeru, Rob Powell, Arsalan Muhammad and Wole Ilesanmi in the Audit team have been promoted to Senior Manager. Segun plays a key role in auditing the firm’s largest venture capital and debt funds. Rob, Arsalan and Wole are senior members of Deloitte’s real estate audit team, which has recently seen strong growth.
Rising to Manager level in Guernsey are Harry Rose, Herbert Settimba, Noor Taghlebi, Pauline Eugene, Tariq Muhammad and Tosin Okegbola and in Jersey are Sophie McMillan, Asad Ullah Akhtar, Ehatasham Aleem, Hanna Deliva, Kunle Akinrotoye, Muhammed Ahsen and Yaqoob Khan.
Assistant Manager promotions at Deloitte include three tiers. In the Guernsey Audit team, nine have been promoted to Assistant Manager Level-3, and nine to Assistant Manager Level-1. In the Jersey Audit team, nine have been promoted to Assistant Manager Level-3 and eleven to Assistant Manager Level-1.
Eight individuals also received promotions to Senior Analyst in the Guernsey Audit team and seven in the Jersey Audit team.
In the BrightStart (school leaver) programme, one Guernsey Audit trainee has risen to Level-3. Five Jersey Audit trainees have risen to Level-3 and three have been promoted to BrightStart Level-2.
