Healthcare Group has announced the addition of Dr Harriet Protheroe to its Cosmedical team.

Dr Protheroe (pictured) joined Healthcare Group earlier this year and will now work alongside Dr Jason Eustace offering the highest standards of care and professionalism. Together they will deliver the latest safe cosmetic medicine, including non-surgical cosmetic treatments.

Dr Protheroe will work with patients on a variety of innovative treatments, like Polynucleotides – small DNA fragments isolated from freshwater fish that trigger collagen production when injected into the skin. This process hydrates and rejuvenates the skin while minimising the appearance of scars.

Harriet is the only Healthcare Group practitioner currently offering intimate administration of polynucleotides in Guernsey. She will provide a novel treatment for women struggling with symptoms of vaginal dryness and scarring.

Dr Protheroe said: “I’m excited to join Dr Eustace and the team. Restoring personal confidence through cosmetic medicine has always been a passion of mine. I’m enthusiastic about integrating my knowledge of women’s health and menopause with aesthetics to help women feel their best.

“We also understand that people with medical conditions such as rosacea and scarring for example can find treatments daunting, but our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.”

Harriet brings a wealth of experience and a passion for aesthetics, women’s health and menopause management to the team. Since joining Healthcare Group as a GP, she has pursued her additional interest in aesthetics, undergoing Basic and Advanced Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler training with DermaInstitute in London. She has also completed advanced training in the administration of innovative treatments such as polynucleotides with DermaFocus.

Harriet is a Graduate Associate member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and is fully indemnified by Hamilton Fraser, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Dr Jason Eustace, who leads Cosmedical, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Protheroe to our team. Her diverse expertise in both medical and aesthetic fields is a tremendous asset. Harriet’s dedication to combining her special interests to empower women through their health and aesthetic journeys aligns perfectly with our mission at Cosmedical.

“Cosmedical is about choice. We want our patients to feel safe knowing they are receiving honest recommendations, but ultimately understanding that it’s your personal choice. We want to help people in restoring personal confidence and making the best decisions for themselves.”
