Guernsey’s White Rock Brewery Co. has recently moved to new premises in St Peter Port.
Located at 23 St George’s Esplanade, the new brewery and distillery is kitted out as a state of the art facility that will have more than twice the space of their former site, allowing the brewers to significantly upscale production capacity.
Commenting on the new facility, Managing Director, Ross Gledhill, said: ‘The move to our new premises marks an important and exciting milestone for the White Rock Brewery. We have come a long way since our small beginnings in 2013 where we started off with a core range of just three beers.
“Our former premises were ideal for the initial growth stage but with the increase in popularity of beer products, plus the massive interest shown in our new Unit Six gin, we needed new premises to give us the room to up production capacity and meet the significantly increasing sales growth.
“The new site will also give us the space for further product development work. We have already set the bar high with our unique vacuum distillation and fractionation process for Unit Six, but with the move to new premises we will have even more room to continue our research work.”
The new state-of-the-art premises are equipped to meet the highest of international health and safety standards, which will enable global distribution from Guernsey.
The company also has plans afoot for a new taproom to be used for product demonstrations and functions plus space for a new retail outlet. Additionally, the new space will meet the needs of the sales team and provide better working facilities for staff.
