VisitGuernsey has been shortlisted for a National Travel Marketing Award 2020.
The nomination is for a microsite dedicated to Victor Hugo’s life in Guernsey, which uses a storytelling approach to Hugo’s time in the Bailiwick. The microsite launched in April 2019 and features specially commissioned art, historical photographs and quotes.
‘To be shortlisted by these prestigious travel awards is a great achievement and we are extremely proud of the creativeness of the VisitGuernsey digital team and its agency partner TPA,’ said a VisitGuernsey spokesperson.
‘The microsite is a wonderful tool showcasing Victor Hugo’s life during his time in the islands of Guernsey.’
The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on 9th March 2020.
