Jersey law firm Viberts has announced three promotions within its Property, Dispute Resolution and Corporate teams.
Emily Paris-Hunter from the firm’s Property team has been promoted to Senior Associate whilst Sara Brady (pictured) and Irene Blöch from the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Corporate teams respectively, have been promoted to Associates.

Emily qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2013 – joining Viberts property team in 2020 with eight years PQE specialising in commercial property law. Emily was promoted by Viberts to an Associate in February 2021 and is currently studying for her local Advocacy exams. She has worked directly alongside Viberts’ commercial property partner, Paul Harben, on complex sales and disposals of city centre commercial premises such as bars, banks, and offices together with financing and securitisation.
Emily recently led the pre-sale purchase of 26 units of one of the largest property developments within the island and has arranged leases for several of Jersey’s most well-known businesses. Emily is recognised as a ‘Recommended and Key Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 UK 2023 and 2022 edition.
Irene has been with Viberts for six years progressing from Legal Assistant to English Solicitor and now to Associate. Irene specialises in property holding company sales and purchases in addition to having a strong background in a wide range of property transactions (both residential and commercial). She also assists with company migrations, trust instruments, and other corporate matters. Irene is originally from Vienna and is fluent in English, French, and German. She was recognised as a ‘Key Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 UK 2022 edition.
Sara is qualified as both a Northern Irish Solicitor (2020) and English Solicitor (2022) and has an extensive experience in a wide range of personal injury matters, including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, public liability and clinical negligence.
Since moving to Jersey and joining Viberts in 2021, Sara’s main area of practice has been civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury. She manages a varied case load of injury and illness claims as part of the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in the litigation process.
All the promotions are with effective from the 1 February 2023.
