Residents from Les Amis, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities, are spreading the love with a hot chocolate giveaway and flapjack sale in St Helier today (Wednesday).
The residents will be ensuring everyone feels loved this Valentine’s Day as the charity gives away the drinks, with the option of marshmallows and whipped cream on top!
The milk has been donated by Jersey Dairy, the Co-op donated a voucher to buy the hot chocolate and SandpiperCI are providing additional hot chocolate and cups.
From 11am until 4pm, opposite Paperchase, Les Amis staff and residents will be supplying copious amounts of Valentine’s cheer.
After proving a sell out last year, flapjacks will return – all homemade by users of the charity.
Jason Loveless, Head of Support Services at Les Amis, said: “This year we have decided to giveaway our Valentine’s hot chocolate for free as we want to make sure everyone feels loved this Valentine’s Day. Our residents are incredibly excited to bake the flapjacks so I hope people will support the charity and buy a flapjack as they receive their free hot chocolate.”
