V-Event: 16 Jul: Using technology for fiduciary investment duties
Share on LinkedInTwitterFacebookEmail

The next webinar in Jersey Finance Fintech Focus thought-leadership series is hosted in partnership with Digital Jersey.  This webinar will feature an exclusive update from Enhance Group on using technology to address fiduciary investment duties.

Trustees oversee investment assets on behalf of a large number of global families, often allocated across multiple Investment Managers and Custodian Banks to achieve appropriate diversification. Under the Trustees Act 2000, widely considered to be the gold standard legislation governing fiduciary responsibility, Trustees are obliged to regularly monitor the investment assets they oversee on a client specific basis. This creates a complex web of investment mandates and associated data that Trustees must analyse and act upon to operate in their clients’ best interests and mitigate their own litigation risk.

Big Data collection and transformation techniques can be harnessed to create a common analytical framework to assess portfolio performance, risk and holdings against client-specific criteria. The right combination of technology enables ongoing investment suitability assessment at scale and at competitive price point, removing manual workflows and subjective assessment techniques to achieve an auditable, quantitative investment review result. During this webinar Enhance will knowledge share the key aspects of their technology based approach to fiduciary investment monitoring.
