UBS Global Wealth Management have announced that Chris Sutherland and Grant Hamilton have joined the firm as Client Advisors within the Private Client Team of the Jersey office.
Chris Sutherland was born and educated in Scotland and started his career at Bank of Scotland as a Customer Services Advisor. Moving to Jersey in 2014, he joined HSBC as HNW Premier Client Manager and Relationship Director. In 2022, he took on the role of Relationship Manager for International Private Clients at HSBC Global Private Bank, proving his expertise in managing a diversified portfolio of HNW Private Clients.
Grant Hamilton has over three decades of experience in the banking and financial services industries. After earning an honours degree in Financial Services from the University of Manchester, he started his career at Standard Charted Bank in Jersey, before moving on to roles at Merrill Lynch, Schroders (CI) Limited, Rathbones Investment Management International and Evelyn Partners International Limited. Most recently, Grant led a team of Relationship Managers at Evelyn Partners International Limited where he was tasked with business growth and client relationship management. Grant is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (previously ACIB), holds an Investment Advice Certificate, and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (Chartered MCSI).
