Two team members of Rosscot Accountants, Georgia Haworth and Ross Pert, have recently completed their Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams, officially earning their ACCA qualification.
The ACCA qualification is a rigorous process that requires a huge amount of commitment. The qualification is a testament to the dedication and expertise of Georgia and Ross.
Reflecting on her achievement, Georgia (shown in the main picture) said, “I found the whole process very educational when it comes to my role and definitely assisted me in my day-to-day work. The studying and exam aspect of the qualification was challenging but definitely worth it in the end. I feel like the process taught me a lot about myself and the determination I have within me, and I feel very proud for getting to the end by passing all 13 exams.”
Ross shared his perspective on the journey, saying, “After a very long journey studying, I can say that I am extremely pleased to be all done now. I self-taught using online courses to pass the exams, which taught me how to manage and plan my time effectively – this skill will transfer very well into my future career as an accountant. The exams have also provided me with important accounting knowledge that I can now apply to my day-to-day work as an accountant at Rosscot.”
Tricia Redmond, Director at Rosscot, expressed her pride in the achievements of Georgia and Ross. “We are incredibly proud of Georgia and Ross for completing the ACCA exams and becoming officially qualified. It’s a fantastic achievement for two of our younger team members.”
