Independent Guernsey-based trust company Trust Corporation International has appointed two new trust officers, Steph Welbourne and Jane Guariento.
In their new roles, Miss Welbourne and Mrs Guariento will focus on the assistance of managers and directors with complex administration duties, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and supporting other trust officers with intricate transactional matters.
Mrs Guariento has joined the firm with 19 years’ experience in the fiduciary field, with knowledge from working in Guernsey, the UK and Switzerland. She has an extensive understanding of family office structures with a background working in well-known trust and bank-owned trust companies.
She has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2006 and also holds the Guernsey Certificate in Offshore Administration.
Mrs Guariento said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to gain further experience from the directors at Trust Corporation who are so skilled and knowledgeable in the fiduciary world. I am looking forward to applying my breadth of skills to help the team.”
Miss Welbourne joins Trust Corporation with 12 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector, after spending over a year at IQ-EQ and, before that, 11 years at Rawlinson & Hunter. She is a member of STEP after earning the STEP Diploma in 2010.
