Three senior members of staff at C5 Alliance in Guernsey have been promoted as the business, the leading provider of technology solutions in the Channel Islands, places an increasing emphasis on the development of people at all levels alongside the growth in the company which now has more than 200 staff.
Simon Tidd, who was Head of Project Delivery, is now Head of Professional Services in Guernsey. Jon Le Noury has been promoted from Senior Consultant and a business analyst in the Project Delivery Team to the Head of Project Delivery role. Phil Solway has risen from Consultant to Senior Consultant.
Simon’s new position is focused on the ongoing management of the Professional Services Team in Guernsey, as well as developing the company’s management approach in line with the growth in the company and its aspirations. Simon is an experienced leader who has worked in a range of industries across the public and private sectors.
Having grown up in Guernsey, he is an ex-army officer, with operational experience in Iraq and Afghanistan, who has also worked for the British Royal Family. Following his time in service, he completed an MBA at Warwick Business School, graduating with distinction, before joining a London-based change and transformation company that specialise in implementing strategy in FTSE 250 and private equity owned companies.
Jon Le Noury has taken on the role of Head of Project Delivery and has a growth strategy for 2018, continuing to build the team, delivering the highest of standards within Project delivery and business analysis. Jon has 10 years’ experience in the technology sector and is the most highly qualified business analyst in the Channel Islands, having completed all the requirements for the British Computer Society’s Advanced Diploma in Business
Analysis.
Jon will oversee the largest independent team of business analysts based in the islands – one of C5 Alliance’s key strengths – working alongside project managers and tasked with identifying the right technical solutions to meet business clients’ requirements. In 2017, this Project Delivery team delivered end-to-end regulatory reporting projects for major international banks; and managed the operations and IT streams of the sale of European branches of an international bank.
Phil Solway, who joined the business in 2016, is now a Senior Consultant, and the technical lead for C5 Alliance’s Professional Services Team. His role has been created strategically to focus on the professional development of technical team members and help determine the right resources for projects.
He is a vastly experienced developer who has undertaken work for many large clients including the creation of Data Warehousing Solutions, large scale data migrations and the development of custom-build client management systems. He specialises in application and database development and thrives in problem-solving situations.
