Sancus, the property bridging and development lender has appointed Neil Spacie, Eric Vasconcelos and Evelina Woszczynska to their Jersey team.
Neil and Eric join as business development managers and Evelina as loan administrator.
The appointments follow a big expansion drive by the Group in the UK and Ireland in the last year, including the opening of a Manchester office and the appointment of six new business development origination leads across the UK.
Neil’s career spans 18 years in finance with 10 years at Standard Chartered, managing private clients’ wealth across sub-Sahara Africa. Neil then joined the family business in 2018, designing and supplying timber-framed
houses to the construction markets in Jersey, Guernsey and the UK.
Eric joins after 11 years at Barclays where he started in personal banking, gaining further experience through various roles at the Bank, the most recent being in premier banking where he dealt with high value, local clients.
Evelina started her career in Jersey in retail management before moving to finance, including a position at Barclays where she held a customer-facing role, acting as liaison between clients and back-office teams.
Josh Eyre (Director, Jersey), said “We are delighted to welcome Neil, Eric and Evelina who complement perfectly the existing knowledge we have within our offshore business and join us on an ambitious growth journey through 2022 and beyond. Their combined experience across the development, finance and high net worth sectors put Sancus well placed to expand its reach within the alternative lending space.”
