The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation has launched its ‘Host a Night’ mini campaign, packed with fundraising ideas to support its compassionate housing, including an online ‘Hosts of Honour’ list.
To safeguard the future of Aggie’s Burrow and Isaac’s Pad, the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (PPBF) ‘Buy-A-Night’ campaign is in full swing and ‘Host a Night’ is designed for those wanting to host a fundraising event as an alternative to buying individual nights.
Both flats are cosy, private, well-equipped and located right next to Southampton Hospital for Guernsey families with premature babies or poorly children needing off-island treatment.
Whether an evening event is hosted specifically for the PPBF, or fundraising takes place during an existing date in the diary, the charity is encouraging creativity to help families throughout tough times.
Jo Priaulx, co-founder of the PPBF said: “The fabulous thing about ‘Host a Night’ is that anyone can get involved. Whether it’s a regular club meet up, school disco, meat draw, open evening, corporate dinner or a bigger, ticked event, we would love see members of the community having a good time, for a good cause.
“Night time can be particularly hard for those who are anxious about what the next morning could bring. Having a ‘home-from-home’ gives a sense of security and reassurance when those nights can feel the longest. Every night counts in terms of the nights hosted and the nights sponsored for our vital properties.”
Suntera Global, Thomas De La Rue and the Cock and Bull are already featured as ‘Hosts of Honour’ on the Host a Night webpage.
