Local distillery company, The Juggling King Rum, is proud to promote Georgia Stenning to Head of Channel Island Sales. Georgia joined the growing spirit producer in January 2020 and has played an integral role in the company’s successful launch which has seen the rum become a popular choice for consumers locally as the company prepares to launch in the UK.
Georgia’s potential in the hospitality industry and enthusiasm was first recognised when she was promoted into management at a UK pub aged 19, making her one of the youngest people in the UK to manage a licensed premise. The new position will see Georgia continue working to grow the business with the ambition of putting Guernsey on the global stage in the spirits market.
Since moving to Guernsey, Georgia worked as a Manager at The Golden Lion where she first encountered The Juggling King’s Founder and Managing Director, Jack Gervaise-Brazier. Her efforts were instrumental in The Golden Lion’s winning of the following awards: Bailiwick of Guernsey CAMRA Pub of the year 2019 and 2020.
Speaking about the appointment at The Juggling King Rum Company, Jack Gervaise-Brazier said: “Georgia has always shown extraordinary dedication and commitment to succeed and it gives us real pleasure to allow her to spread her wings in this industry. We look forward to supporting her in her new role as she embraces new challenges.
“Georgia’s ambitions mirror my own and that of our team. With over 18 locations already stocking our product and liquor experts predicting rum to overtake gin as Britain’s new favourite drink, we have more exciting times ahead. We’re driving the business to grow quickly and it’s great to have her energy and potential at the centre of that process”.
