Channel Islands technology firm C5 Alliance is beefing up the skills of its leadership team.
Four staff have just graduated with Level 3 and Level 5 diplomas from the Chartered Institute of Management as part of the firm’s on-going plan to develop existing talent.
The CMI is the professional body dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence.
Peter Davies and Lee Coogan each obtained Level 3 CMI diplomas, which are designed to help build team management skills.
Peter is an Infrastructure Services Manager, managing a large team of engineers. Lee is a Service Operations Manager who oversees the day-to-day running of the Operations team within the Managed Services department.
Elsewhere, Samantha Rankin and Joe Cabral also achieved their Level 5 CMI diplomas, which had a focus on managing stakeholder and quality needs, performance, operational risk and project management.
Samantha is a Relationship Manager who supports clients on a day-to-day basis. Joe is the Head of Service Desk & Operations for Managed Services team.
Rob Leader, Group Managing Director of C5 Alliance, said: “One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is being able to support the development of talented people. We have some fantastic individuals within our business and enabling their growth and progression is something I am extremely passionate about.”
He added: “I am very proud of Peter, Lee, Sam and Joe for what they have achieved. It can be hard to take time to study on top of already demanding work commitments and busy lives, so these results truly demonstrate their commitment to their career progression, their teams and our business.”
