Switch Digital, the digital marketing, branding, creative & website development agency, has expanded its User Experience (UX) team with the appointment of Elliott White as Head of User Experience.
The UX team takes a user-centric approach to design, creating websites and apps for clients that are easy to use and deliver delightful experiences for their users.
Elliott has joined the Switch team as Head of UX following a long history with the business. He has consulted for Switch for a number of years, providing additional UX research and insight. Prior to joining Switch, he worked for a Swiss digital agency as the Design Lead focusing on creating experiences and MVPs (minimum viable products) for both startups and some of Switzerland’s largest financial companies.
A well researched and impactful UX can deliver better results online for businesses and Switch says that Elliott’s experience makes him an expert in the field. The ‘User Experience’ includes everything customers interact with every day through a variety of channels such as their website, advertising and social media channels.
Investing in UX design ensures these multiple touchpoints work in harmony with one another and deliver a great experience for all customers which in turn helps businesses achieve their goals and objectives. In the role, Elliott will act as a central conduit bridging together the creative, communications, web and digital marketing teams. He will work closely with these teams to deliver UX excellence across all areas of our client’s activities.
Elliott commented “I’m excited to join Switch and develop and grow the UX team. I look forward to collaborating with each of the team’s passionate experts to deliver the best experiences for the customers and users of our clients.”
Switch Co-Owner and Digital Director Nathan Nicholls added “We’re excited to have Elliott join team Switch and to expand our UX offering. This is an area of increasing importance for our clients and so we are looking to further expand this offering in 2023 and build a larger UX focussed team.
“We have all had experiences online trying to purchase something and the user experience doesn’t meet our expectations. The most successful UX delivers a balance between usability and creativity, often clients feel they need to choose between the two, at Switch we aim to strike the right balance.”
