Jersey agency Switch Digital has made two new appointments within its digital marketing team.
Sarah Richardson has joined the creative digital agency as Senior Account Manager while Leah Cunningham has been appointed as Content Marketing Executive.
An experienced digital marketer and creative copywriter Sarah joins the team having recently managed the Visit Jersey website, development projects and campaigns as well as managing their social media accounts.
Whilst Leah previously worked for a local consultancy specialising in PR for the financial services industry. She is a highly skilled content writer and has brought this expertise to all areas of the business, with particular alignment to search engine optimisation projects for many of Switch’s clients.
Commenting on the new appointments Damon Eastwood, Managing Director of Switch Digital said: “We’re delighted to have Sarah and Leah on board and to have further strengthened our growing digital marketing team. Individually they bring knowledge and expertise from both the finance and hospitality industries, two of the main sectors in which we operate.”
Discussing the topic of diversity in the field he went on to say: “Diversity is one of the biggest challenges facing the tech industry right now and it’s something we are very keen to promote. We’re now leading the way locally with a 50/50 male female split.”
Sarah said: “It’s really exciting to be working with such a talented and inspiring team of web developers, marketing experts and creatives and I look forward to developing my role at Switch.”
Leah added: “I’m thrilled to be diving straight into a more digitally focused career and am really enjoying extending the different aspects of this marketing role, from search engine optimisation to creating compelling website content. It’s an exciting industry to be working in right now.”
