SRM Accounting, led by founder Shakera Rolle-Manuel, has continued its sponsorship of the Jersey Golf Academy.
This long-standing partnership supports the development of young golfers across the island, fostering their confidence, skills, and love for the game under the guidance of PGA professional Andrew Chamberlain.
The academy recently held its end-of-season competition at Wheatlands Golf Course, offering the children a chance to display their growth over the past 24 weeks. The event featured the exciting ‘Nearest to the Pin’ challenge, where participants were encouraged to show precision, patience, and focus—key skills in both golf and life.
Following the competition, participants moved to the Longueville Driving Range, where they continued to display their skills. The event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony at the range, celebrating the young golfers’ hard work and growth.
Shakera Rolle-Manuel expressed her pride in supporting the initiative: “Watching these young athletes grow in their abilities and passion for the game is incredibly rewarding. We are committed to helping nurture the next generation of golfers.”
One of the event’s standout moments was the presentation of the prestigious SRM Purple Blazer to overall winner Teddy Millar, a symbol not only of golfing excellence but also of dedication and perseverance.
