Financial services consulting firm Sionic has announced that two of its most senior members of staff, Managing Partner Gilly Green and Partner Shelley Doorey-Williams from the firm’s Wealth Management and Private Banking Practice, will join its leadership team.

Between them, Gilly Green and Shelley Doorey-Williams have over 50 years’ experience working in wealth management and private banking. The duo will work alongside Paul Bratch, a Sionic Managing Partner and the original founder of the Jersey operation.

Jersey is considered a core hub to service offshore markets, and this move marks a significant increase in the range of advisory and consulting services Sionic will now offer to the Jersey market. These new services include corporate governance and board effectiveness reviews, regulatory services, business integration, transformational change management and digital transformation.

Gilly Green commented: “We see a real opportunity to align our services with emerging market trends.  We are already experiencing increasing demand globally, as well as in Jersey, for consultancy in corporate governance, holistic client service models and transformational change management.  By increasing collaboration across our locations, we can match our clients’ needs with a much wider offering coupled with deep-domain expertise on the legal and regulatory requirements of Jersey as a jurisdiction.”

Shelley Doorey-Williams added: “Jersey has been a leading centre of international finance for well over 60 years. It is at the forefront of the global finance industry and continues to increase its attractiveness as it strives to be one of the easiest international finance centres to do business with remotely, in a digital world. This is ever-more relevant given the current environment.  I am excited to be working closely with such a highly experienced Jersey team and bringing them together with our global subject matter experts for the benefit of our Jersey clients and the Jersey finance sector as a whole.”

Paul Bratch, Managing Partner, said: “Gilly and Shelley are hugely experienced finance professionals and collectively bring significant wealth management and private banking expertise to our team.  I’m delighted that they are leading the Jersey team which is a natural fit given their respective backgrounds.  This is a very positive start to the Sionic-Jersey new year!”
