Organisers of the 2024 Saffery Rotray Walk are encouraging Islanders to sign up now as one of their New Year’s resolutions.
By acting now, walkers can benefit from an ‘Early Bird’ discounted registration fee of £32.
Walk Chairman, Simon Milsted, said: “The Walk makes for a fantastic New Year’s resolution, conquering a challenge that is both physical and mental.
“But more than that, registration now encourages walkers to get out and enjoy our fantastic network of island and coastal footpaths during the months ahead.
“The determination of our participants is truly admirable, and we encourage walkers, both old and new, to kick the year off by resolving to improve their own exercise regime and also to come together in June to help make this another record-breaking Walk.”
Lisa Vizia, Director of Saffery Trust, said: “We hope to see lots of interest from the community and a willingness to participate in this year’s Walk. Our walkers continue to amaze and inspire, and we want this year to be no different.
“Begin your training journey now by signing up for the Walk. Completing the challenge is not only a fantastic personal achievement, but one that will benefit a variety of charities island wide.”
The Saffery Rotary Walk hopes you will join them to achieve a common goal of raising much-needed funds for charity while enjoying the beauty of Guernsey’s coastline along the way.
The Walk will take place on Saturday 8th June 2024. Further information can be found here.
