Almost 30 businesses, groups or individuals from Jersey and Guernsey have been shortlisted in 10 categories for the inaugural Leaders in WellBeing Awards 2019. In total, more than 70 nominations were received.
The Leaders in WellBeing Awards have been created to celebrate the burgeoning wellbeing related activities of organisations and individuals in the Channel Islands; including corporates, entrepreneurs, health and wellbeing practitioners, government departments, schools, and not-for-profit organisations.
Founder of Leaders in WellBeing, and Director of WellBeing World and WellBeing At Work, Beverley Le Cuirot commented: “This is only the first year for the Leaders in WellBeing Awards, and the response has been absolutely amazing. I am so very grateful to our main sponsor, HSBC, the awards sponsors, Rossborough Healthcare, Rossborough Financial Services, and The Insight Group, and to Jersey Business, The Jersey Good Business Charter, and The Busy Queen Bee for their support.
“The huge response from employers in all sectors across the business community in both Jersey and Guernsey augurs well for the future prospects of our economy, for the developing working environment and the wellbeing of employees overall in the Channel Islands, added Mrs Le Cuirot.
