Technology solutions provider C5 Alliance, which forms part of BDO Jersey, is continuing to invest in its people by promoting two members of staff to senior positions.
Jon Bishop and Michael Bateman have both been appointed as Director of Professional Services at C5 Alliance’s Jersey office. These promotions reflect C5 Alliance’s continued growth in the Channel Islands and its plans to expand its international client base.
Jon has a proven track record of leadership, having served as a section commander in the army for more than a decade, seeing action in the first Gulf War and Kosovo. He is an expert at getting the best from a team and has been involved with C5 Alliance for almost 15 years.
He is passionate about scaling and improving the capabilities within the company and going above and beyond as a trusted strategic adviser for digital transformation programmes. Jon is also keen to pursue further opportunities through C5 Alliance’s partnership with BDO, leveraging the power of its global reach.
Michael has worked for C5 Alliance for more than a decade and has specialist knowledge of bespoke development having previously been responsible for the development team. Originally from Cape Town in South Africa, Michael has been living and working in Jersey for twenty years.
He will draw on his expertise to support local businesses to find innovative solutions to their IT needs. Helping organisations move to the cloud and taking full advantage of the potential offered by cloud services such as Microsoft Azure will be a key aim for 2020.
The Chief Executive Officer of C5 Alliance, Scott Workman, said: “We firmly believe in developing our talent which makes a major contribution to the continued success of our business. Jon and Michael’s appointments will align us closer to what our clients want and enhance our trusted relationships with key partners like Microsoft and HPE.”
