Saffery Trust has supported a junior Guernsey golfer who will be playing on a professional tour around the UK.
17-year-old Jayden Tucknott (pictured) earned a place on the Clutch Pro Tour following a successful 2023 season in which he won seven Junior Opens in Hampshire and became Island and Channel Island Junior Champion. Jayden also competed as the second-youngest finalist in the Men’s Island Championship, narrowly missing out on the title.
Jayden said the upcoming tour was the next step in progressing in the sport: “On the Clutch Pro Tour I will be joining many high-level professionals who will be seeking spots in the European and PGA Tours. I’m hoping to secure a few top-10 wins during the events. I am truly looking forward to an exciting year ahead, during which I will also be playing for the Hampshire Team in the Men’s and Junior National events.
“I am very grateful for the sponsorship from Saffery Trust, which will help me on my path to continued success and, hopefully reaching my ultimate goal of playing as a tour pro in the future.”
Saffery Trust Managing Director, Nick Batiste, said the firm was proud to support the young player: “At Saffery Trust we are committed to supporting opportunity and enabling success, which extends to members of our wider community. Jayden consistently demonstrates excellence and enthusiasm, which are two of our core values, and it is a pleasure to be able to support his ongoing efforts.
“We wish Jayden the best of luck for the upcoming season and are look forward to seeing him achieve his goals.”
