Saffery Trust Guernsey has been named Trust Company of the Year (Midsize Firm) at the STEP Private Client Awards, marking the firm’s third major award success of 2024.
Widely regarded as the benchmark of quality and professionalism in the private client sector, the STEP Private Client Awards celebrate top firms delivering the highest standards of client service. Saffery Trust – which was also shortlisted for Employer of the Year by STEP – was recognised as a leading firm across several areas including its dedication to supporting opportunity and enabling success for its clients and staff alike.
Established in Guernsey in 1977, Saffery Trust was also named Independent Private Client Trust Company of the Year in the 2024 eprivateclient Excellence Awards and winner of the Corporate Social Responsibility/Diversity category in The Twelfth Annual Wealthbriefing European Awards 2024.

From an ongoing revenue growth and a firm-wide rebrand with a digital-first approach, to the expansion of their team – including more than doubling the size of its Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Team – Saffery Trust demonstrated a forward-thinking approach and continued stability.
The launch of the firm’s new Employee Value Proposition showcased its commitment to the professional and personal development and well-being of its people, with a progressive flexible working policy to promote a healthy work-life balance.
The firm was also recognised for its contribution to its community, with 2023 marking a record-breaking year for the Saffery Rotary Walk fundraiser, and Saffery Trust doubling its Corporate Social Responsibility budget for 2024 alongside a new strategy for charitable activities.
