Saffery Champness has been named the top Independent Private Client Trust Company at this year’s ePrivateClient Excellence Awards.
ePrivateClient is a website and news service for private client practitioners, including lawyers, accountants, trustees and fee-based IFAs. Attended by over 180 guests in London, the second annual awards ceremony (held 7 July) focused on recognising the outstanding achievements of ePrivateClient’s top-ranked firms across the UK and offshore legal, tax, fiduciary and advisory professions over the past year.
Recognising the efforts and initiatives of Saffery Champness across its offices in Guernsey and Switzerland, the judging panel noted the firm had “demonstrated many achievements over the past 12 months. Most notably the firm has made a number of internal job promotions and created new roles, including those at director level, demonstrating its commitment to developing and retaining top talent. Furthermore, the firm continues to contribute to the local community through fundraising activities and has made great steps towards reducing its carbon footprint, and that of its staff.”
The accolade follows the ranking of three Saffery Champness professionals in ePrivateClient’s 2022 Top 35 Under 35 earlier this year, along with four listed in Legal Week International’s 2022 Private Client Global Elite Directory.
Nick Batiste (pictured), Managing Director, Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries, said: “This has been a truly stellar year for the firm – not least with the continued expansion of our market-leading digital assets practice – and I could not be prouder of our team. Each individual at the firm has played an important role in this success, helping cement our reputation as leading providers of fiduciary services.
“We are acutely aware of the challenges that our clients face and look to adapt with them, and the evolving market, to provide the best quality service and build lasting relationships that span generations. I am grateful to the judges for recognising our commitment through this award – particularly given the strong competition – and would like to extend my warmest congratulations to our entire team for making this possible.”
