Two Saffery Champness directors have been recognised as Top Offshore Experts for high-net-worth individuals in the Spear’s 500 Tax and Trust Advisers Index 2022.
Managing Director Nick Batiste and Director Helen Green (both pictured) were ranked as ‘top recommended’ following a stringent review of peer nominations, client feedback, interviews and information gathered by the Spear’s editorial and research teams.
Nick Batiste said the recognition was a testament to decades of experience gained across the firm’s teams in the Channel Islands, Cayman Islands, Dubai and Switzerland: “Saffery Champness’ distinctive independent structure means we are not restricted in exploring any opportunity for our clients. With over 30 years’ industry experience, Nick Batiste explained it was important for service providers to keep abreast of the changing needs of high-net-worth individuals :“We are continually evolving our service offering to meet the needs of our clients. A prime example of this is the establishment of our digital asset team in Guernsey, one of the first of its kind in the island.
“We were first approached by a client wanting to invest in cryptocurrency five years ago and, rather than shy away from what was a relatively unknown market, we allocated resources to work with specialists and develop a robust understanding of the management of digital assets. We now hold digital asset portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients and mitigate the risks of a volatile market.
