Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries has appointed Debbie Renouf as senior compliance manager in the firm’s Guernsey office.
Guernsey-born Debbie has more than thirty years’ experience in the financial sector, with a career spanning the wealth management and private banking industries.
Debbie (pictured) was previously Head of Client Services at a London-based, privately owned wealth management firm as well as Senior Manager within the Client Services Team at a private Swiss bank. Her roles have involved oversight of various client services functions, including working closely with Periodic Client File Review / KYC teams drawing on her compliance skills. Debbie’s appointment further supports the continued growth of the firm and follows the recent promotion of eight team members in the Guernsey office.
Nick Batiste, Managing Director of Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries in Guernsey, said: “We warmly welcome Debbie to the team at Saffery Champness in Guernsey. As global regulation continues to increase, from economic substance to international harmonisation on taxation, and as new risks emerge, not least including data security, the importance of robust compliance measures cannot be underestimated.
“We continue to invest in and develop our capabilities and the addition of Debbie’s expertise and impressive experience is a real asset to the firm and our clients.”
Debbie Renouf, Senior Compliance Manager at Saffery Champness, said: “As a local, I have long known Saffery Champness for its work and presence in Guernsey and the firm has a well-deserved reputation not just on the island but across key international finance centres and within the highest circles of the private client professional community. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to contribute to the unrivalled levels of service our clients expect from Saffery Champness.”
