After its success in previous years, Rossborough Healthcare’s popular free health check event is returning this March 2020 – offering several hundred Jersey residents the chance to receive a range of specialist health checks and advice on how to proactively manage their health, free of charge.
Rossborough Healthcare is partnering with medical professionals and charities to provide two days of free comprehensive health checks with a particular focus on heart conditions, respiratory, diabetes and cholesterol as well as a new virtual reality stress testing experience. The events will be held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel.
“At Rossborough Healthcare we are passionate about promoting proactive health and that’s what this event is all about. Attendees will have access to some ground-breaking new technology and will receive advice from some of our finest local healthcare professionals,” said Richard Clarke, Managing Director of Rossborough Healthcare.
Rossborough Healthcare’s previous health check events have led to a number of important interventions in people’s lives, including the detection of a heart condition in an individual with no prior history or symptoms.
The free event is open to all islanders over the age of 19 and will include cardio, respiratory, ECG, spirometry, diabetes, cholesterol and stress tests. Experienced, qualified, local medical professionals will conduct tests and will be available to give immediate feedback on test results in a professional and confidential environment.
Some of Rossborough Healthcare’s key insurance partners, AXA and Aetna, are co-sponsoring this year’s event.
Medical professionals including Optimal Health, Wellbeing World and True Food, will be on hand to offer advice and support.
Individuals wishing to attend the event must complete a simple pre-registration form on the Rossborough Healthcare health check website, for an appointment slot that will last approximately 30-40 minutes. These slots will be available from 08.00 – 12.45, and 13.45 – 17.30 on both days.
To provide an accurate consultation, attendees will be asked to fill in a basic health questionnaire during pre-registration to bring along to their designated appointments.
