Redwood’s company secretarial branch, Redwood Co Sec Limited, has been licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) as a corporate service provider (CSP).
The licensing provides Redwood Co Sec Limited with the opportunity to provide incorporation services as a complementary service to the firm’s existing co sec and governance offering.
Tom Cluett (pictured), managing director of Redwood Co Sec Limited, said: “Becoming licensed by the GFSC was the next natural step forward for Redwood.
“Offering incorporation services alongside our current offering elevates our position. Our clients’ needs are at the heart of everything we do and becoming licensed with the regulator demonstrates our commitment and experience in this area, particularly in the current business climate with increased focus on transparency and accountability. Indeed, we have seen a marked increase in demand for these new services since attaining our license and it has been very satisfying to provide a wider solution to our growing client base.”
Redwood created its co sec offering in 2018, in response to a growing demand from both regulated and un-regulated entities for bespoke and flexible company secretarial solutions.
Redwood’s team of experts also provide reviews of company records from a governance perspective to ensure full compliance.
James Wood, chief executive of Redwood, said: We’re extremely proud of the growing services offered by Tom and his team. Their company secretarial expertise has ensured our clients meet the highest governance standards. Our new license is a key landmark in Redwood’s growth strategy to provide a wider range of complementary services to assist our clients’ needs.
