I have always preferred pears to apples, so I decided to make my own take on apple pie and make a pear pie!
I’m obsessed with crumble, so had to sprinkle a bit on the top! This pie is great for sharing and treating yourself, and is easy to make last minute.
Pear crumble crunch

- 2 tinned pears or 3 fresh pears
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 Puff pastry sheet
- Handful of Ground almonds
- Oats (for the topping)
- 1tbsp Brown sugar (for the topping)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon (for the topping)
Instructions
- Roll out your puff pastry into a dish shape
- In a separate bowl, mix together the pears, cinnamon, lemon juice, honey, ground almonds and sugar
- Once mixed place in the pastry dish and curve the edges over the filling
- In another bowl mix the oats, cinnamon and brown sugar together and sprinkle on top of the pear filling
- Bake in the oven on 190c until golden for around 45 mins
- Top with Greek yogurt or ice cream
- Enjoy!
