Ray & Scott has raised an incredible amount of £5,000 for the Guernsey Air Display with a raffle to win a Bremont Vulcan watch.
The raffle was drawn on Friday 22 December and André Trebert was the lucky winner. “Although the odds were pretty good for this raffle, with a limited number of tickets available, you never really think you’re going to win, it was more about supporting the Air Display.” said André.
“I’ve never owned a watch like this so I was over the moon when I got the call from Jeff. It made a very good start to Christmas!”
This is the second year Ray and Scott has supported the display with a watch raffle. “I’ve always been a big fan of the air display and we wanted to do something to support the event. With the relationship we have with Bremont and the special edition Lancaster watch they released in 2022 for the 80th anniversary of the Dambusters Raid it all came together.” said Jeff Fox, Partner, Ray & Scott.
“Following the success of that raffle, we decided to do it again this year with the Bremont Vulcan. With the two watch raffles and a fundraising dinner we held in 2022, we are very proud to have been able to donate £15,000 to the display over the last two years.”
“We are obviously incredibly grateful to Ray & Scott for their wonderful support of the display and to everyone who took their chances and bought a raffle ticket.” said Natalie Davidson, Event Organiser, Guernsey Air Display Foundation. “Funding for the display relies almost entirely on sponsorship from Guernsey businesses and the local community through the Friends of scheme. It’s an annual challenge and a donation of this size really give the display some stability as we plan the event.”
