Alex Chambers, from Ravenscroft’s investment management team, has been included in the Citywire Wealth Manager’s Top 30 Under 30 for 2022.
Now in its twelfth year, the Top 30 Under 30 showcases the best young talent from across the UK and those who are making their mark in the investment world.
“The Top 30 Under 30 is well-known for its strong competition and high calibre of talent, and includes peers from top investment firms, so to be recognised for my efforts in obtaining my qualifications and helping clients achieve their investment goals is a big honour,” said Mr Chambers.
Nominations are judged by an independent panel and the top 30 are selected based on a combination of academic success, professional qualifications and the responsibilities and impact they have on the business they work for.
Alex joined Ravenscroft in 2013 and in 2014 was made portfolio manager within the discretionary investment team, overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple portfolios and funds. He recently joined the specialist funds team, where he will primarily be working on a range of Channel Island-based closed-ended funds that the company acts as investment managers to.
“Throughout his time with Ravenscroft, Alex has shown an incredible level of dedication and insight and he’s been integral to the team, working with both our institutional and private clients,” said Mark Bousfield, managing director of Ravenscroft.
“For him to be included in the list, especially as it’s open to the whole industry, is recognition not only of Alex, but also of the calibre of investment managers we have here at Ravenscroft.”
Alex, who moved to Guernsey 15 years ago and completed his education at Elizabeth College, holds the Chartered Wealth Manager, Private Client Investment Advice and Management, and Investment Advice Diploma qualifications. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
