PwC has further strengthened its leadership team with a pivotal promotion recognising continued growth opportunities in the Channel Islands.
In continuing PwC’s efforts to drive talent diversity from the top, newly admitted Partner, Lisa McClure, will play a vital role in leading and shaping PwC’s strategic direction, with particular focus on Asset Management and Real Estate Services across the Channel Islands and beyond.
Lisa has been with the PwC network for 15 years, having originally joined the firm’s Guernsey office as a qualified accountant in 2003. She has since amassed significant local and international experience, including a six month secondment at PwC in Sydney, and is now permanently based at PwC in Jersey.
Lisa’s specialist niche is in Real Estate and she invests a lot of time building strong working connections with Government, Regulators, The International Stock Exchange and Fiduciary Service Providers to cement the Channel Islands’ position as a centre of excellence for Real Estate investment.
In more recent years, Lisa has additionally been instrumentalin recruiting some exceptional talent into the local firm. Asked what inspires her most about her career to date, she commented: “It’s the people. I genuinely thrive on seeing first year trainees flourish – from those early induction days, to celebrating with them as they pass their professional exams, to proud promotion milestones and seeing them embark on overseas secondment experiences full of opportunity at other PwC firms within the network – I truly do my best to connect with applicants from the moment they are welcomed through PwC’s doors for their very first interview.”
Since Lisahas been an inspiring role model for her colleagues at all levels, the entire firm is delighted to see her now celebrate her own milestone, promotion to partner, an appointment which came into effect from 1 July 2018.
