Ravenscroft has promoted its money laundering reporting officer to group head of compliance.
Guy Hardill, who joined the company in 2017, brings more than two decades of financial services experience to the role which involves overseeing the group’s compliance and regulatory requirements and being responsible for the compliance teams in Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco and Peterborough.
“Guy has proved himself to be a real asset to Ravenscroft. In the two years since he joined, the company has seen incredible growth with new services added and expansion beyond the British Isles and Guy has played an invaluable part in ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our compliance and regulatory obligations,” said group managing director Mark Bousfield.
Mr Hardill, who has previously worked for both Guernsey Law Enforcement and the regulator, is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association, having completed International Diplomas in Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention. Outside of work he is president of Guernsey Rangers F&AC and a trustee for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for Ravenscroft and the company has changed significantly in the short time I have been here. I am thrilled that my contribution over the last two years has been recognised by the board and that they have the confidence in me to take on this demanding role as we move forward,” he said.
