Kate Donohue, an English Barrister at Myersons, has been named the winner of the Family Law award for achieving the highest marks in the Jersey Law Course examinations in 2021.
The prizegiving took place at The Law Society of Jersey’s annual Dinner earlier this month and Kate was presented with her prize by the Deputy Bailiff, Robert MacRae QC.
Principal of Myersons, Victoria Myerson, said: “This award is testament to Kate’s dedication and determination and we are incredibly proud of her remarkable achievement.”
Kate, who is continuing her studies for the Jersey Advocate exams, joined Myersons in December 2020 from 18 St John Street Chambers in Manchester. She brings the rare combination of having practiced Family Law as both a Solicitor and as an English Barrister over many years in England, ensuring that her skillset is as effective both in and out of the courtroom.
