PraxisIFM Group has made a firm commitment to environmental sustainability by enrolling on ESI Monitor’s Environmental Business Operations Framework.

In line with its determined pledge to be a good corporate citizen and further reduce its environmental impact on the world, PraxisIFM has appointed a team or representative from each office, who will lead the project in their jurisdiction.

The Group, which provides global professional administration services across Private Client & Corporate, Funds and Pensions in 17 jurisdictions globally will produce data and targets on reducing its scope one, two and three emissions.

PraxisIFM CEO, Rob Fearis (pictured) shared his excitement for the Group as it takes the next step of its sustainable journey: “ESG is already an important part of our business model and a priority for many of our clients and staff – now is the time to be making sure that same attention reaches all parts of our organisation. We know it’s not enough for businesses to simply be talking about their ESG commitments, we need to taking tangible action and holding ourselves accountable to make positive change.

“We recognise our responsibility in this area and have made a major investment for the Group in order to truly understand where we are as a business and to set aspirational yet achievable targets in partnership with the experts at ESI and to report on those goals openly and for the benefit of all.”

ESI Monitor promotes positive environmental and social impact and aims to support business to drive their transition to sustainability and inspire continual improvement through measurement, benchmarking and adaptation. The Environmental Business Operations Framework is an international benchmark and serves as an environmental management system to measure, manage and minimise an organisation’s environmental impact.

Marc Laine, managing director of ESI Monitor, said: “Climate change is finally being taken seriously on a global scale and the next step is for businesses to be making impactful change. Measurement and benchmarking promotes accountability, supporting businesses to achieve realistic but meaningful progress. We’re very excited to have PraxisIFM on board and to be working with the Group on an international level. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
