Independent financial services firm Praxis Group has launched a campaign to inspire the next wave of professional women.
Twenty-four women from across the Praxis Group have stepped forward to donate an hour of their time to offer career guidance to other women who are interested in pursuing the same profession.
Through one-to-one virtual meetings, ‘The Full 24’, which was launched on International Women’s Day, aims to empower these individuals as they embark on their own career journey, as well as those who are interested in exploring a change of direction. Open to applicants worldwide, the initiative is designed to be inclusive and is hoping to have a lasting impact on those involved.
With women from across the Group’s service and business support functions participating, ‘The Full 24’ facilitates career insights from diverse backgrounds, experience and skills.
Group Head of Marketing & Communications, Charlotte Barnes (pictured), said: “The Full 24 is focused on the difference a day can make in the trajectory of our lives and embraces this year’s IWD theme of ‘inspire inclusion’.
“International Women’s Day highlights the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society and encourages us to recognise and celebrate the unique perspectives and contribution that women from all walks of life offer.”
With over 400 years of professional experience between them, the 24 volunteers will be donating their time as part of Praxis’ annual volunteer hours policy.
Women who would like to be considered for one of the 24 spots should complete a short application by 12 April, with the one-to-one online sessions due to be held over May and June.
